The chief secretary Om Prakash has directed the officials concerned to get the feasibility study conducted for construction of a ring road around the Tehri dam reservoir and submit the report soon. He said this while chairing a meet on the subject at the secretariat on Monday.
The chief secretary said that the proposed construction of the ring road surrounding the Tehri dam reservoir is an important project included in the announcements made by the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. He directed officials to submit the report soon after getting the feasibility study conducted for the proposed construction of the ring road. Om Prakash said that all the departments concerned will have to make all possible efforts in order to develop the Tehri dam reservoir into an international-level tourist destination.
