Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) Chief and Finance Minister, Rameshwar Oraon on Wednesday welcomed Rafale’s arrival in India and said it will strengthen the strategic and defense power of the Country. He also asked many questions to the Central Government regarding purchase of the fighter plane.
Oraon said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government should explain why a Rafale fighter plane worth Rs 526 crore would cost Rs 1679 crore. Whereas 126 Rafale has been replaced by 36 Rafale and why has it been brought from abroad instead it could have been manufactured in India, he added.
The state Congress president said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is repeatedly asking the Prime Minister this question that China has entered Galvan, Pangag inside the Country’s border and Gandhi is saying on the basis of the pictures of the satellite and after talking with former military personnel.
