The commuters on Kangan-Wayil-Ganderbal road have complained that the recent Government announcement to halt civilian vehicles when convoys of security forces pass will force them to take Wayil Bailey bridge route which will increase the traffic jam on the road .
“The movement of the army convoy in the area scheduled to start after reopening of Srinagar Leh highway next month will force civilian vehicles to take Wayil Bailey bridge route which is free of convoy movement,” different delegations from Kangan and Lar area told Greater Kashmir. “This will result in more traffic jams on the bridge”.
