Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced that the state will be promoting the use of drones in various sectors for rapid growth and efficiency. Drones have become essential for monitoring functions in various businesses and governmental organizations, and have proven to be extremely beneficial in areas where industries were stagnant or lagging behind, he said.
The Chief Minister stated that though in its infancy stage, drones have already broken through rigid traditional barriers in industries which otherwise seemed impassable by similar technological innovations. The drone policy of the state was framed way back, but much is to be done to fully adopt and give practical shape to it.
