Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday said that every household of the State would have power connection by December 2019. He said that government had now shifted its focus to provide quality power supply.
Das, who was addressing a public meeting in Bhawanathpur (Garhwa) for soliciting support for BJP Palamu candidate VD Ram said, “The State has moved out from lantern age, but RJD wants to push State in lantern age. Under the Ujjwala scheme power connections is being provided at rural hinterland and by December 2019, all villages in State will have power connections.”
The CM said that the State Government in its effort for rural electrification construction of 117 grids and 257 power substations is going on at war footing pace. Garhwa too will have a power grid.
