Chief Minister Hemant Soren discussed issues like compensation, employment, rehabilitation of displaced people among other crucial matters with National Thermal Power Corporation Chairman, Gurdeep Singh here on Friday.
After the talks the CM said that he has received positive assurance from the NTPC chairman on all issues. “He said that he will soon apprise us about NTPC’s decision on compensation and other issues. State Govt and NTPC’s coordination is a must for development of the State,” said the CM.
“I have asked him to clear NTPC’s stand on the standing issues. Until they clear their stand no new land acquisition will take place for the purpose here,” added the CM.
