The ‘Clean Train Day’ was observed under the ongoing eighth ‘Cleanliness Fortnight’ (from 16th September to 2nd October) on Wednesday on the directions of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Vineet Kumar Srivastava and Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer (Environment and Housekeeping Management) Apoorva Swarnkar at different originating/ terminating stations of Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway (NER). On the occasion, the trains were properly made clean and onboard inspection of trains was done by the nominated officers.
