Punjab cabinet minister Harbhajan Singh Sunday said that civil works for the upcoming international airport at Ludhiana’s Halwara were likely to be completed by July this year. He added that the tenders of all construction works have already been allotted by the Public Works Department (PWD).
Singh was inspecting the site of the upcoming airport. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been taking a keen interest in the project and has directed the officers to expedite the work.
