NEW DELHI: The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has said that it has completed all civil work related to the G20 Summit and wants to complete beautification work by mid-August.
NDMC vice-chairman Satish Upadhyay said during an interaction that the planting of 3,000 tree saplings and 28 lakh shrubs on central verges and by roadsides is done and another 15 lakh shrubs have been prepared for planting by August 15.
“A variety of tree species, such as champa, tamarind, Ashoka, Alstonia and neem, have been planted.
