Coal India’s coal production increased by 8.8 per cent to 358.33 million tonnes (MT) in the Apr-Nov period of the current financial year. It was at 329.29 MT in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. Coal offtake has increased by 6.5 per cent in the period under reference. It is 391.82 MT compared to 367.99 MT in the previous fiscal.
