TIRUPATI: A passenger, whose smoking habit created alajadi (flutter) and chaos among the passengers on board the Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express train, was taken into custody by the railway police on Wednesday.
According to the South Central Railway, an unauthorised passenger who boarded train no 20702 Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat express, locked himself inside the toilet at the C-13 coach.
After the unauthorised person smoked inside the toilet, the automatic aerosol fire extinguisher emitted a powder-like smoke to put off the cigarette fire.
