CHENNAI: Southern Railway will operate fewer suburban trains in Chennai on Thursday due to incessant rain.
Suburban trains on Chennai Central – Arakkonam, Chennai Central – Gummidipundi/Sullurupeta, Chennai Beach – Chengalpet and Chennai Beach – Velachery sections will follow Sunday’s schedule and will have 45 minutes to 30 minutes frequency during peak hours.
Southern Railway has announced helplines for passengers to find information about train operations on Thursday.
