CHENNAI: Southern Railway reduced the number of suburban workmen special trains in Chennai from 4pm to midnight on Monday due to heavy rain and waterlogging.
A total of 131 services will be operated till midnight at reduced frequency.
There will be 29 services on Chennai Central-Arakkonam section, 20 services on Chennai Central-Gummidipoondi section, 56 services on Chennai Beach-Chengalpet section and 26 services on Chennai Beach-Velachery section.
