After staying below the 20 mark for three days, tricity’s Covid-19 cases jumped to 22 on Saturday.
An equal number of cases was reported on Tuesday, following which the tally dropped to 11 the next day, before rising to 17 and 16 over the subsequent two days, but had remained below 20.
On Saturday, both Chandigarh and Panchkula recorded nine cases each, while Mohali logged four, making tricity’s case count 22.
On the bright side, there was no virus-related death for the 10th consecutive day. The only death in the tricity so far this month was reported by Mohali on March 2.
