The Chandigarh Administration has failed to make functional 23 public charging stations in the city, which it had installed six months ago. At the moment, those using electric vehicles ether charge their vehicles at home or at a private charging station.
Now, however, the UT Administration claims that they will begin work on installation of 44 new charging stations in the city from May 16.
To date 23 charging stations had been set up across various locations in Chandigarh of the 37 stations, work order of which was given in the first phase. Even those couldn’t be operational.
