Power regulator Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has lowered the price ceiling in all market segments of power exchanges to Rs 12 per unit from the previous Rs 20 per unit “in view of alleged profiteering by sellers”. The order, second in a row, will remain in force till June 30 this year.
