PUNE: Central Railway will run two special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Velankanni to clear the extra rush of passengers due to Vailankanni Festival.
According to officials, train number 01161 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 1pm on August 26 and will arrive Velankanni at 8.35pm the next day. Also, train number 01162 special will leave Velankanni at 6am on August 28 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 4.30pm the next day.
In addition to this, train number 01163 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 1.40pm on September 6 and will arrive Velankanni at 12.30am on the third day.
