Increasing number of COVID-19 infected cases has gripped the Govternment-run coal mining company Central Coalfield Limited’s (CCL) headquarter. The company headquarter has been closed for three days except essential work due to sanitisation of the entire campus to provide security cover to its employees. The offices will reopen on Monday.
The CCL administration on behalf of CCL CMD Gopal Singh decided to close the office for complete sanitisation work of the headquarter when two officials of the Finance Department detected positive results on Wednesday. They were transferred from Kolkata office to Ranchi headquarter in the last week and on the date of their joining they submitted their sample for test. After two positive cases came forward then panic gripped other officers and staff.
