Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has been certified under ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) .
CCL has been given ISO certification under the Integrated Management System in three parameters, i.e., ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Under this, open mines, workshops, washeries, hospitals and mines rescue stations, including headquarter is also certified. It is also the first time in Coal India and its subsidiaries that washeries have been included in the certification. ISO 9001 certification is awarded for quality, ISO 14001 for Environment, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety.
CCL has received the above certificates for compliance with the international standards, making it the first company in Jharkhand to achieve this feat.
