Central Coalfields Limited hosted a ‘Shramik Samman Samaroh’ at its headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi to mark labour Day. More than 70 prizes were given to miners including contractual workers during the programme.
Prior to it, a floral tribute was paid at Shaheed Ashmarak, situated at Darbhanga House, Ranchi to honor the contribution of coal miners towards the nation’s development. This May Day was aimed to acknowledge the contribution of coal miners to the nation’s economy and the hardships they face while working in mines.
