The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned the station master of Bahanaga Bazar Station in Odisha’s Balasore district in connection with the train crash that occurred on July 2, resulting in the tragic death of 293 people and leaving nearly a thousand people injured.
Station Master SB Mohanty has been asked to appear at the CBI’s Bhubaneswar office on July 11 for further investigation into the incident. The CBI’s move comes after three railway personnel were arrested on Friday for their negligence, which contributed to the devastating accident.
