Cathay Pacific, a Hong Kong-based airline, with an aim to grow its India network, has announced the launch of its fifth non-stop flight service from Hyderabad to Hong Kong.
The carrier will launch its fifth service on June 7. It launched four flights a week to Hyderabad in December 2012. The new service will be operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft. This flight will provide seamless connectivity through Hong Kong to various destinations in North America, China, the Philippines, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
Mark Sutch, Regional General Manager, South Asia, Middle East and Africa in a statement said, “Aviation has emerged as one of the fastest growing industries in India. The industry is expected to witness Rs. 35,000 crore ($ 4.99 billion) investment in the next four years, which will further fuel its growth.
