Cathay Pacific, a Hong Kong-based airline, with an aim to grow its India network, has announced the launch of its fifth non-stop flight service from Hyderabad to Hong Kong.
The carrier will begin its services effective from June 7, 2019. Cathay Pacific launched flights into Hyderabad with four flights a week in December 2012. This service will be operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft. This flight will provide seamless connectivity through Hong Kong into various destinations in North America, China, Philippines, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
Mark Sutch, Regional General Manager, South Asia, Middle East and Africa in a statement said, “Aviation has emerged as one of the fastest growing industries in India. The industry is expected to witness Rs. 35,000 crore (US$ 4.99 billion) investment in the next four years, which will further fuel its growth.
