NEW DELHI: A 33-year-old Chinese man was arrested at the IGI Airport for smuggling 47,983 4GB and 8GB memory cards into the country concealed in a voltage regulator. The cards are worth over Rs 36 lakh.

Tirupati runway in poor condition, airport closed after Air India aircraft suffers damage
MUMBAI: The fuselage and flight control surfaces of an Air India aircraft that took off from Tirupati airport on Tuesday afternoon suffered extensive damage, presumably because of foreign objects and particles on the runway. Following the incident, the airport runway was shut down, leaving air passengers on atleast a dozen arrival and departure flights stranded.
This airport in China has launched 5G network
The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in south China’s Guangdong Province has launched a 5G base station, making it the first 5G-covered airport in the country. The speed of the network can reach 1.14 gigabytes per second, around 50 times faster than the current 4G network, according to a test, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
