Jet Airways pilots have refused to take up any on-ground duty following the management “forcing” some pilots to either perform ‘office’ duties or go on leave.

The problems for the debt-laden Jet Airways seem to intensify as it has been forced to ground four aircraft on account of non-payment of outstanding amount as per lease agreement. The Naresh Goyal-led airline informed the same in a stock exchange filing late night on Thursday.

The debt-laden Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube has asked company employees to brace for tougher times ahead before things get better for the ailing airline. In a letter written to his employees, Dube also said that the finalisation of the resolution plan is very close.
