NEW DELHI: Accusing the Narendra Modi government of “offering lies” to the common man, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday alleged the CAG has revealed that the much-publicised UDAN scheme, just like PM Modi’s other promises, did not take off on 93% of the stipulated routes.
He was referring to the scheme unveiled by the government to increase regional travel and connectivity, which the PM had said was designed to afford the common citizen the opportunity to undertake air travel.
