On February 12, 2021, a full page advertisement in leading newspapers was placed by Builders’ Association of India with heading “We Protest Against Cartelization. We Demand fair pricing & Regulatory Authority. Cement Price has gone up to Rs 420 from Rs 280 per bag, and Steel price gone up to Rs 72,000 per tonne from Rs 42,000. Due to cartelization, steel and cement price increased unreasonably.”
