NEW DELHI: Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Microsoft have entered into a 7-year tieup for cloud-based accelerated digitisation of the state-run refiner’s business and enterprise processes to prepare for the changing energy market dynamics and consumer preferences.
Microsoft’s secure cloud platform, with data privacy at the centre, will provide the intelligence to transform BPCL’s operations, build smarter supply chains and increase customer engagement, Microsoft said in a statement.
Microsoft will provide infrastructure as a service (IAAS), platform as a service (PAAS), network and security services on the cloud, including Azure native services on Azure Datafactory, API, IOT and analytics.
