The Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Ltd (K-RIDE) has announced that the Indian Air Force (IAF) has signed a memorandum of understanding with it for handing over the latter’s land at Jalahalli in Bengaluru for the suburban rail project.
A press release issued by K-RIDE on Friday said, “The corridor-2 line, or the Mallige line, of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project of around 25.2 km from Benniganahalli to Chikkabanavara, currently underway, is progressing significantly. It has successfully transitioned from the drawing board to the execution phase.”
