NEW DELHI: Security agencies swung into action following a bomb threat to a Pune-bound Vistara flight at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday morning. Officials said the call was received by airport operator’s call centre at 7.30am that there were three bombs in the flight. The flight, with over 100 passengers, could finally take off at 4.22pm after an all-clear was given after the combing operations.
An airport official said when the boarding process of Vistara’s UK-971 flight, which was scheduled to depart at 8:30am, was underway, a call was received at 7.30am claiming that three bombs had been planted on the flight.
