Protesting frequent power cuts, BJP workers locked the main gate of the TPCODL office here on Monday.
Led by former MLA Krushna Chandra Patra and former MP Rudra Pany, the BJP workers gathered at the TPCODL office to voice their concerns.
The protestors also issued a warning that if the TPCODL fails to take appropriate measures to stop power outages in the district, they would call for a Dhenkanal Bandh.
“The power distribution system in Odisha has been a complete failure under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. We demand an apology from him and Energy Minister Pratap Deb should resign.
