BJP launched 72 hours of dharna on against the acute power crisis prevailing for the last months at Randhir Verma Chowk near the District headquarters today under the leadership of Raj Sinha, Dhanbad MLA.
The protesters comprising senior party leaders including, Chandrashekhar Singh, District President (Urban); Sanjay Jha, district vice president and others who congregated at the dharna site during at around 10 also chanted slogans like, “24 ghante bijli dena hoga; Hemant Sarkar hay hay etc.”
Talking to the media Sinha said, “The situation crisis is very pathetic in Dhanbad as well as in six other districts, including Bokaro, Giridih, Koderma, Chatra, Hazaribagh and Ramgarh where we are witnessing more than 15 hours of power cut everyday.
