NEW DELHI : As crude oil rates continued to tumble over fears of the spread of the virus in China, petrol and diesel prices were cut today for the sixth consecutive day. Petrol price was down by 11 paise a litre and diesel 13 paise a litre. In the last six days of successive price cuts, petrol price has fallen by ₹1.22 a litre and diesel price by ₹1.47 a litre.
In New Delhi, a litre of petrol today costs ₹73.60 and diesel ₹66.58. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol comes at a price of ₹79.21 a litre and diesel ₹69.79 a litre. If you are in Bengaluru, you will have to pay ₹76.06 for petrol and ₹68.79 for diesel. In Chennai, petrol costs ₹76.44 and diesel ₹70.33. Those in Hyderabad will have to pay ₹78.26 for petrol and ₹72.60 for diesel. In Gurgaon, you pay ₹73.35 for petrol and ₹65.77 for diesel.
