Just over two months ago, on April 1, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a Vande Bharat train between Bhopal and Delhi, via Agra.
In that time, the express train has been marred by stone pelters, with reports saying that at least 30 window panes and door panes have been damaged in the last sixty days.
So far, 16 of these window panes have been replaced, and 14 have been temporarily fixed using tape and adhesive.
According to Bhopal Railway officials a majority of these stone pelting incidents took place on the route from Delhi to Agra.
