Pragati Deergha located in Piplani near Hostel No.3, is an exhibition gallery depicting BHEL’s glorious journey since its inception. HRDC has been entrusted by BHEL Management to develop ‘Pragati Deergha’ as a learning centre spreading technical knowledge to Educational Institutions and society at large.
Taking a step in that direction an industrial visit of a batch of students of Government College of Engineering Technology, Jammu was organised by HRDC from November 11 to 16, 2019. This included a visit to Shop floors of factory to take a look at the products and manufacturing facilities, a guided tour or ‘Pragati Deergha’ with explanations of various models and exhibits and followed by lectures on various topics by BHEL expert.
