NEW DELHI: Air India has waived no-show charge for passengers who are unable to reach airports across the country in time for their flights on Tuesday, Bharat Bandh. They will be given a free date change.
Air India Tweeted Monday night: “For passengers who are unable to reach the airport due to possible disturbance on Tuesday (Dec 8), no-show charges will be waived and one free date change allowed for those with confirmed tickets for travel on Dec 8 from any Indian airport.”
“Due to expected disturbance (on Tuesday) availability of public transport might get affected. Passengers are requested to keep sufficient time in hand for their journey to the airport,” AI said in another tweet.
