Bengaluru: The uncertainty over the survival of the coalition government in the state has also cast its shadow over the city administration. Various infrastructure projects such as road asphalting, solid waste management and BWSSB projects like pipe laying and cleaning of manholes have come to a standstill or slowed down.
M. Soubhagya, a resident of Kasturinagar, said that laying of pipes for supply of BWSSB water to 110 newly-added villages to the BBMP, has been going on for over six months. The delay in laying of pipes because they had to remove a hard rock has affected many other activities in the area.
