BENGALURU: The South Western Railway (SWR) started the trial run of Vande Bharat Express train from Bengaluru to Dharwad on Monday.
The new eight-car train left Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna railway station at Majestic at 5.45am. As per the schedule fixed by the SWR, the train will reach Dharwad at 12.40pm. On its return, the train will leave Dharwad at 1.15 pm to reach Bengaluru at 8.10pm.
The stoppages for the train include Yeshwanthpur, Davangere and Hubballi. The total length of the route is 489km.
