BENGALURU: From this month, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) consumers of all categories will be charged an extra Rs 1.15 per unit towards the recent revision in its Fuel and Power Purchase Cost Adjustment (FPPCA).
While 51 paise will be collected towards the quarterly FPPCA, another 64 paise goes towards monthly FPPCA, according to Bescom’s order.
However, the company’s officials clarified that the FPPCA cost has come down considerably compared to the previous month when consumers were charged Rs 2.05 per unit.
