BENGALURU: Following a initial hiccup, Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) authorities have announced a fresh date as Tuesday, September 12, 2023 to start international flight operations from T2.
Earlier, August 31 was postponed following delays in preparedness mainly works pending at the airport.
In an official statement by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), operators of KIA, said on Thursday night, “after consultation with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders, BIAL is pleased to announce the commencement of International operations at BLR Airport’s Terminal 2 on 12th September 2023, from 10.45 am onwards. This decision has been taken after careful evaluation and consideration of various factors, including regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and passenger convenience.”
