Bathinda railway station has bagged safety award for zero tolerance in maintaining safety in train operations and team operations for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21.
The award was given to Bathinda Station Superintendent Pardeep Sharma by Ambala Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Gurvinder Mohan Singh, ADRM Infra Karan Singh and Sr Divisional Safety Officer Anil Sharma at a function organised during the 66th Railway Week celebrations at the DRM office in Ambala, where the division felicitated some of its railway stations for their outstanding work.
While talking to The Tribune, Pardeep Sharma said: “Bathinda railway station has been given the shield award in safety and team operations.”
