Bajaj Auto, a leading Indian automobile manufacturer, has introduced two new variants of its popular electric vehicle (EV) Chetak. Both the scooters are priced less than leading EVs of competitors – the Ola S1 Pro (Rs 1,47,499) and Ather 450X (Rs 1,37,999), both exshowroom prices. The Chetak Urbane is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, while the Chetak Premium comes with a price tag of Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Since its launch in 2019, Bajaj Auto has successfully sold over 1 lakh units of Chetak EVs in more than 140 cities across the country.
