Every Ram Navami, Ram Lalla will get a “Surya Tilak”. An intricate network of lenses and mirrors will be used in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya to channel a ray of sunlight on the forehead of Ram Lalla at 12 noon for about six minutes on the ninth day of the Chaitra month which marks Lord Ram’s birth. The “Surya Tilak” system has been designed by scientists from CSIR and Central Building Research Institute.
