Avaada Group, one of the leading integrated energy platforms in India, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to invest Rs 40,000 crore to develop an aggregate 6,000 MW (6 GW) of renewable energy (RE) capacity in the state. Furthermore, the company also intends to set up a Green Hydrogen/Ammonia manufacturing unit to produce 1 MMT of green ammonia in the state.
Kishor Nair, CEO, Avaada Energy, said, “The proposed investment to generate 6GW of renewable energy is focused on the combination of wind and solar energy production and we are still considering the proportion of wind and solar energy regarding this project.
