BENGALURU: The power sub station located near Anand Rao Circle – A station – turned 100 this month. The city’s oldest, it still stands strong and provides power to core areas, including Vidhana Soudha, Raj Bhavan and MS Building.
The stone structure and British architectural marvel was constructed in May 1920 and commissioned two mont hs later to become the only substation in the city under Bangalore Power and Light Scheme.
