Energy storage batteries manufacturer, ARENQ entered into a strategic partnership with DE Power, an Asian company specializing in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. ARENQ has been designated as the exclusive distributor of DE Power’s advanced EV chargers and swapping stations throughout India.
ARENQ plans to distribute approximately 50,000 EV chargers, ranging from 1 to 5 kilowatts, across the country. The collaboration also includes plans for local manufacturing of chargers in India, utilizing DE Power’s technical expertise.
V. G. Anil, CEO of ARENQ, expressed the significance of the collaboration, stating, “ARENQ aims to facilitate sustainable transportation solutions, and our collaboration with DE Power allows us to provide cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure to Indian consumers.”
He further emphasized the intention to localize manufacturing, stating, “We aim to harness DE Power’s expertise to produce high-quality EV chargers within India. This aligns with our shared goal of fostering economic growth, creating jobs, and contributing to the nation’s economic progression.”
Maggie Nie, Foreign Trade Manager of DE Power, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, saying, “By leveraging ARENQ’s extensive network and commitment to quality, we aim to deliver reliable and efficient EV charging infrastructure, thus accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across the nation.”
