Akasa Air on Friday (February 16) announced a thorough investigation into the recent “deboarding experience” of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Lok Sabha member Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur at the Delhi airport.
The controversy emerged after Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur alleged that airline staff, particularly duty manager Imran and his associates, conspired to cause her harm upon landing at the Delhi airport from Mumbai on an Akasa Air flight on February 15.
Details about the incident are not yet fully ascertained. In a post on social media platform X on Friday, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur accused Akasa Air staff of a deliberate attempt to cause her loss and called on Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia to intervene and take appropriate action.
