The CPI(M) has raised objections with the way the handling operations of five airports was given to the Adani Group. The party alleged that such a decision days ahead of the announcement of Lok Sabha polls was to “fill” the BJP’s coffers.
Addressing a meeting on the bi-centenary year of Karl Marx, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury said the Narendra Modi government is working hard to maximise the profits of big industrialists. “The Rafale contract was handed over to Anil Ambani, who has no experience in making aircraft. Now, Adani, who has no experience in managing airports won the tender to handle operations of five airports.
