NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Wednesday issued fresh advisory to airlines asking them to strictly enforce Covid-19 protocols including mask mandate for passengers in aircraft amid rise in cases across the country.
The aviation regulator said it will be conducting ‘random checks’ in aircraft across the country to see if the Covid-19 protocol are being followed.
“In view of the rise in Covid-19 cases, airlines have been advised to ensure that passengers are wearing face masks properly throughout the journey and ensure proper sensitization of the passengers through various platforms,”
