AirAsia passenger misbehaves with flight attendant at Bengaluru airport, held

BENGALURU: A 40-year-old man was recently arrested on charges of misbehaving with a flight attendant on an AirAsia India flight at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), minutes before take-off to Goa. He was deplaned and booked for outraging the modesty of a woman and sent to jail.

Sources at KIA’s Terminal 2 said the incident took place early on September 13 when the suspect – Anil Kumar, 40, a resident of Aland in Kalaburagi, north Karnataka – boarded AirAsia flight I5 1574, scheduled to leave for Goa at 4.10am.

“He was seated on 21B (middle seat) of the flight. When a 21-year-old flight attendant was attending to boarding passengers, he started misbehaving with her, attempted to touch her inappropriately and grab her hand.
